Royal Grand Prix Derby I™ — a franchise is born
F2 releases Royal Grand Prix Derby I™ to the Korean domestic market — a virtual horse racing experience that would become the company's defining product line. The cabinet combines cinematic race presentation with real-money wagering mechanics built for casino floors.
Korean scale · first overseas install
Royal Grand Prix Derby I surpasses US $100 million in sales across the Korean arcade market (approximately 18,000 units, ≈₩180 billion), and F2 is appointed a Prospective Small & Medium Enterprise by the Korean government. The same year, Royal Grand Prix Derby I is installed in Poipet, Cambodia — F2's first overseas deployment.
International debut — Macao, Manila, Las Vegas
Royal Grand Prix Derby I (Overseas Version) is installed at Pharaoh Casino, Macao (January) and in Manila, Philippines (February) — F2's first two casino markets outside Korea and the start of two decades of continuous presence in both regions. F2 debuts at G2E Las Vegas the same September.
GLI certification — world's first
Royal Derby System acquires GLI certification in May 2006 — the world's first horse racing game to receive GLI approval, following RNG and RTP evaluation under ISO/IEC 17025. The same year, Royal Grand Prix Derby I is installed at Paradise Casino Walkerhill, Seoul and at Pavilion Casino, Manila — extending the Philippine footprint that would become F2's largest overseas market.
F2 FilKor Manila · product line formalised
F2 FilKor Inc. is incorporated in Manila (June) — a local Philippine subsidiary giving operators in F2's largest overseas market direct commercial and support presence. The Royal Grand Prix Derby Series (Derby I / II / EZ / Table) is formally established, alongside WinningStar (electronic-live roulette) and Royal Fortuna (multi-player table) — the three product families F2 built through the 2010s before consolidating around the Derby line.
Resorts World Manila
Royal Grand Prix Derby and WinningStar 8-Player enter Resorts World Manila — F2's first integrated-resort deployment in the Philippines, years ahead of the country's Entertainment City expansion.
The multi-table era — four continents
WinningStar, Royal Fortuna MT, and Royal Multi-Table Derby roll out across Jamaica, Guam, Mexico (Caliente Group), and Canada (Amaya Gaming), with manufacturing in Brazil and expansion into Cyprus. The product range now spans electronic live, multi-player table, and virtual racing — all built on the same GLI-certified platform.
Franchise scale-up — eight Philippine sites, India debut
Royal Derby 2, Royal Fortuna MT4, and WinningStar 8-Player are installed across eight Philippine venues (Cebu, Bacolod, Pavilion, Heritage, Ronquillo, Angeles, and more), while Royal Fortuna MT4 opens the Indian market at Crown Casino — the year the franchise moves from boutique installs to scale.
Shield Macao · Guam expansion
Royal Grand Prix Derby Multi installs 45 units at Shield Macao — F2's largest Macao deployment to date, seven years after the first Pharaoh Casino install. Royal Derby 2 enters its second Cebu venue, and Royal Multi-Table Derby expands to two more Guam properties (VIPPACHINKO, WINSTER 2) on a rent-and-operate basis. F2 exhibits at G2E Asia Macao the same year.
City of Dreams Manila
Royal Grand Prix Derby Multi is installed at City of Dreams Manila — the Melco-operated flagship on Entertainment City and one of the most closely watched casino floors in Asia. The deployment cements F2's position as the virtual racing specialist top-tier Philippine operators procure from, and opens a decade-long relationship with the property.
Manila Bay Resorts — now Okada Manila
Royal Grand Prix Derby Multi enters the property formerly known as Manila Bay Resorts (rebranded Okada Manila earlier that year), Entertainment City's $2.4 billion Japanese-backed integrated resort. The third major Philippine deployment in six years, and evidence of repeat demand from the region's top-tier operators.
Solaire Resort North · RGD Multi & RGD3 GLI certification
Royal Grand Prix Derby Multi is installed at Solaire Resort North — extending F2's Solaire relationship to both Entertainment City and Quezon City properties. The same year, both Royal Grand Prix Derby Multi (Paco 1.1) and Royal Grand Prix Derby 3 complete GLI certification, clearing the product line for its 2026 international launch.

F2's latest flagship debuted at G2E Asia 2026 (May 12–14, Cotai Expo Hall A, Stand A624, The Venetian Macao). A cinematic virtual racing experience engineered for modern casinos — up to 100 seats, 14 horses, 7 venues, and eight modular layouts scaling from a 6-terminal boutique install to a 100-seat flagship. Three decades of game development distilled into a single machine.
